On 27 March 2026, HollaEx® proudly supported the Australia–Korea Business Awards (AKBA) hosted by Australian Chamber of Commerce KR, where HollaEx® is a member company. The event recognized the firms, institutions, and partnerships strengthening commercial ties across this unique corridor.
The event brought together senior representatives from government, finance, industry, and innovation to acknowledge organizations advancing bilateral trade, investment, and cooperation. HollaEx® was pleased to participate alongside major stakeholders including the Australian Government, ANZ Bank, Posco Holdings, Woodside Energy, Australian Made, and many other major APAC participants.

AKBA reflects a broader shift across APAC. Australia and Korea are important markets individually, but they also sit within a region that is becoming increasingly influential in digital financial infrastructure.
Across APAC, the systems supporting payments, treasury, liquidity, and settlement are becoming more digital, programmable, and interconnected. Stablecoins, tokenized assets, and continuous digital markets are beginning to reshape how businesses move value and manage cross-border financial activity.

Much of this recent momentum is now coming from APAC’s regulatory maturation. Singapore and Hong Kong remain leading hubs, while Australia, Japan, and South Korea are moving toward more structured frameworks for institutions, exchanges, and digital-asset infrastructure. Markets such as Thailand and Indonesia are also helping define how digital assets and new payment rails can develop within clearer regulatory settings.

This momentum matters commercially. As firms across the region look for more efficient ways to move value, manage treasury, and access liquidity, the infrastructure behind those flows must be increasingly digitized, transparent, reliable, compliant, and responsive to local market conditions. That is particularly relevant for major trade partners such as Australia and Korea, where established business ties create a strong base for further financial and technological development.

Events such as AKBA help make that broader regional shift visible. They bring together organizations and decision-makers involved in long-term cooperation across energy, infrastructure, finance, technology, sustainability, and innovation.

We extend our congratulations to all 2026 award recipients such PwC, Posco Holdings, Macquarie Asset Management as well as others (view all the winners here) for their achievements and contribution to Australia<>Korea business collaboration.

HollaEx® is proud to have participated in an event that recognized not only business excellence, but also the strength of regional relationships across the wider APAC ecosystem.
