🆕 How To Withdraw Money From Binance Australia
Binance's easy, fee-free deposits are a hit with Australian users, but how do withdrawals work? Let’s explore
Napa v2.12: Crypto address book for withdrawals, P2P user sell side, transaction IDs & more!
The highly anticipated release of HollaEx® Napa v2.12 is here! This update brings exciting new features, bug fixes, and powerful add-ons, including the ability to view additional deposit and withdrawal transaction details, peer-to-peer trading with a new user sell-side flow, and a whitelisted crypto address book.
For all the v2.12 details, read on below 👇. If you're looking for a short summary of Napa click here 🍷.
Version 2.12 introduces a withdrawal address book, allowing users to save their personal crypto addresses. This address book enables users to name and save the addresses they wish to use for withdrawals.
The address book saves users the hassle of locating, copying, and pasting addresses each time they make a withdrawal. It also acts as a whitelisted address, giving users peace of mind that the address is their own and has been pre-verified.
Coming soon will be the ability expedite withdrawals when using these whitelisted addresses.
To add a new address to the address book, users can navigate to their wallet page and click ‘ADDRESSES’ at the top, or manage address during the withdraw flow.
Users will also have the option to view and manage their address book during all coin withdrawal processes.
In the previous update the P2P system only allowed the user to buy crypto from the vendor. In Napa the P2P capabilities have expanded so that users can now sell crypto to the vendor.
This new P2P sell-side feature allows users to share fiat payment methods, enabling them to receive fiat currencies when selling their cryptocurrency. Payment methods can be as simple as an email address for a PayPal account or more complex, such as a bank wire transfer with a SWIFT code. These payment details are entirely up to the admin exchange operator to setup.
Admins have the flexibility to restrict payment methods to a subset of well-known systems for their region and target audience or to offer a variety of payment methods for a more international audience. The payment details that users add must be verified by the admin before they can be used for any P2P transactions.
Users engaging in P2P transactions will also be rated by the opposite party they trade with. These public ratings will help guide vendors in making informed decisions before each trade. When users sell crypto to vendors, the critical last step of releasing the crypto is left up to the user, making the rating system even more important. Admins will also need to verify users to reduce the risk of bad actors on their P2P exchange platform.
Additionally, vendors now have the option to set crypto to buy or sell as BTC, ETH and other assets. To support these assets in P2P trading, there is also the ability to set prices dynamically, ensuring they adjust according to market conditions.
Dynamic pricing can be set in the OTC desk deal page within the admin panel. This feature allows specific price formulas to be predefined and saved for use in P2P trading or through the OTC Broker (Quick Trade/Converter) interfaces.
Incoming deposits and outgoing withdrawals using blockchains will now include the blockchain’s transaction ID number. This can be reviewed by expanding the transaction row in the Transaction History page.
The Transaction ID can be copied and pasted into a blockchain explorer of choice to find more information about the transaction.
The collection of Transaction ID information, along with the amount, coin name, and other details, is useful for proving that a transaction took place—often required for proof of funds or transaction processes requested by other exchanges or even banks.
For non-blockchain transfers, the transaction will be marked as a ‘transfer’ and displayed as such. This applies to cases where an email is used to transfer internally within the same exchange network (or an internal crypto address on the exchange). These internal transfers also have a Transaction ID for internal tracking through the admin's exchange Operator Control Panel.
New instant conversion paths for USDC are now available on the Convert page (AKA: Quick Trade OTC Broker interface). This includes major crypto assets such as USDC to BTC, ETH, TRON, MATIC, and BNB.
Soon, you’ll be able to convert any asset to another asset directly (Smart Price Quote and Execution (SPQE)). Typically, you’d need to convert to either USDT or USDC first, followed by a trade to the desired asset. This extra step can be a barrier for new users unfamiliar with crypto markets. This smart execution system improves the user experience greatly by taking out the stablecoin step and reducing the currency conversion steps by 50%.
Version 2.12 also includes various visual updates to the asset price page, such as improved layout and increased visual density. The new price page will also be orderable by market cap significance and will also show the top 3 assets by % movement and other categories.
More trading volume data will soon be visible to all exchanges and their user base, providing insights into which assets are traded most and when.
